Prodigy Catches 3 1/2 Year Bid
Its official. Mobb Deep’s Prodigy is taking an up notrh trip (no pun intended). He was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison on Tuesday October 9th after pleading guilty to gun posession charges.According to the New York Daily News, Prodigy interrupted his trial and admitted that the unlicensed .22-caliber pistol found by police in the armrest of his bullet-proofed Chevy Suburban last October in Chelsea.
Prodigy was arrested after being pulled over by police for making an illegal u-turn on 9th avenue in New York.
Diddy Hit with Another Lawsuit
Things aren’t looking any better for Diddy who has been hit with yet another lawsuit. This time around, he’s being sued for $5 million by a man who claims that Diddy’s bodyguards jumped him in a Manhattan nightclub last June.Event promoter James Waldon claims he was at The Box on June 1, when he approached Combs and asked him to listen to one of his acts he was working with.
Allegedly, Waldon claims that he introduced himself and they briefly exchanged greetings.
Allegedly, when Waldon asked Combs for a few minutes to view a performance by his group, Combs called his bodyguards, who jumped him and threw him out of the club.
Waldon suffered some minor injuries on his person as well as some on his teeth and mouth.
Diddy’s lawyers were not available for comment.
