After the story broke out of the man who was shot at 50 times after coming out of his bachelor party many hip-hop radio personalities in New York including Kay Slay and Funkmaster Flex of Hot 97 took the airwaves and expressed their opinions of the situation. While Kay Slay and Papoose hooked up and did 50 shots Funkmaster Flex encouraged listeners to “Google Mike Oliver(officer involved in the incident), google him in there, police officer, and put address, too, and see where this dude is from…I wanna see what town he’s from”.Video Link.
But his comments didn’t stop there also while looking at a New York post picture of the officer he noticed he had on a expensive watch and accused the officer of being a “dirty cop”. He did however later apologize for his statements but that doesn’t seem to be good enough for police officers. Recently NYPD RANT a forum for discussion for NYPD officers posted the address and pictures of Funk Master Flex’s house in retribution for his comments. Damn don’t mess with the NYPD.
