According to police reports, Pitbull was stopped in his silver Mercedes while doing 93mph in a 55mph zone. The rapper, who was hesitant to exit his vehicle, was incoherent with bloodshot eyes.
He then failed the sobriety test after stepping off line and starting without being told to do so.
He was arrested and booked, bail was set to $1,000.
Pitbull's last album, The Boatlift, hit stores on November 27th and debuted #50 on the charts with sales of 22,203 copies in its first week.
