Who favorited?Pimp C Honored At Ozone Awards

It has been a couple of months since the death of UGK rapper Pimp C, but his memory still resonates in many hearts. So much so that the rapper wil be honored at this years Ozone Awards by having a category named after him.
So far the first nominees for this Pimp C inspired award are Kanye West, Lil Wayne, David Banner, Trae, Killer Mike, and Trick Daddy.
Pimp C was always a great rapper and offered great sound clips durring interviews with his outspoken comments. He made several comments about Russel Simmons as well as Young Jeezy, and even went on record saying that Atlanta was not a part of the south, during a radio interview.
The Ozone Awards will be held in Houston, Texas, along with the TJs DJs It

I see your point. One thing though is the awards show is in Houston, Texas where Pimp is from. Secondly (no disrespect) but 2pac died like 14 years ago so if he didn’t get an award by now he probably won’t. Honestly there are tons of more artists from ALL genres of music that were more inspiring in their time than Pac was and they didn’t get an award either. I feel Fo-T on 2Pac having an award, and I don’t even like 2Pac. Why does Biggie deserve an award? Because he was popular when he died? I’m a huge Biggie fan but the only thing he ever inspired me to do was sell crack. Just because an artist dies in their prime doesn’t somehow make them different than what they are. To be honest I don’t see what makes Pimp-C deserve an award either, but I didn’t listened to him too much, so I can’t say that he doesn’t deserve it.
