Diddy says that the recent allegations against him referring to a fight outside a New York City night club have been blown out of proportion. At a news conference introducing a new business venture with Diago PLC (the world’s largest alcoholic beverage group), Diddy stated, “It was something that was just totally overblown…I don’t fight over girls!”. He also added, “I am a human being and I will get into an argument at times.”
According to police sources, Diddy was under investigation in regards to the fight which was allegedly over a woman.
When asked if there was any further legal action being taken, he responded, “They looked into it. There are so many other things going on in the city.”
According to police, Steven Acevedo, 31, has accused Diddy, 37, of punching him twice in the face at the nightclub in SoHo. Diddy could be facing a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault.
