Media outlets worldwide might have jumped the gun yesterday when they released reports of West Coast rapper The Game being a free man after serving a mere eight days of his sixty day jail sentence.
The confusion occurred after jail records listed Game as having been released from LA's Twin Towers facility late Sunday evening (March 9).
While he did in fact leave Twin Towers, Game was simply moved to another facility for safety reasons.
“Reports stating that The Game has been released from prison are false." Said his manager, Jimmy Rosemond, in a press release late Monday (March 10th) afternoon.

Although he was transferred from the Twin Towers, he is not expected to be released until early April in time to promote his upcoming album L.A.Times. (L.A.X.)
