Nas's forthcoming album is causing quiet a stir. Not only is the title causing controversy, but so is it's tentative April release date.
Recently, even Def Jam chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid expressed doubt on the albums April 22nd release date saying "We'll have to see, hopefully we'll get it in April or May."
A rep for the Queens Bridge MC has finally cleared up the mist.
"Nas is currently putting the final touches on the highly anticipated new album," Tracy Nguyen explained.
"He has not played any music yet for press, but is looking forward to doing so very, very soon."
Nguyen also put the rumors of a Nas/Jay-Z collabo album to rest, saying

"We've heard the rumors as well, and can confirm that Nas is only focused right now on his forthcoming solo release."
The album is still on track for an April 22 release, and is still titled "Nigger."
