The Brain Trust which consists of various MTV employees, will be facing off on Sunday, July 29, when “The Hottest MCs In The Game” premieres on MTV2 at 2 p.m. However, numbers 10-8 have been unveiled with a few surprise names added.

Young Buck was the spring time, if Buck The World had just dropped maybe he’d be on this list but right now he’s not “hot” enough. Em’s too far behind the scenes right now. Snoop, though nobody’s denying his talent and legendary status, he’s more luke-warm than hot right now. Common is a mad talented lyricist but introspective rap isn’t ever really gonna be hot in today’s world unless your name starts with ‘Kan’ and ends with ‘Ye’. Between The Game and Cham… I’m going to have to give it to Cham. Granted his album kept getting pushed back due to the lack of a hit single, but Cham’s been crazy on the remixes and Mixtape Messiah 3 guarantee’s in my mind Ultimate Victory will be fire.
