Mos Def has reportedly hooked up with clothing label Undrcrwn to a release a fashion line in 2009.
The line is a collection of 14 pieces that were inspired by Dead Prez's 2004 album RBG: Revolutionary But Gangsta.
The clothing line will be showcased on August 26th at a party in Las Vegas. The pieces are expected to be hitting stores in February 2009 and prices will range from $36 to $200.
In other Mos Def news, his film company, Garden Grown Entertainment, has hooked up with two other companies (Exwaze & Hughes Capital) to produce a film about the first desegregated casino and hotel in Vegas, The Moulin Rogue.
The movie, entitled The Fabulous Moulin Rouge, will center around Mos Def, a character who rises from being a debt collector for the mob to a manager of the casino.
The movie is set to begin shooting next year in Dubai.

for real man mos is a pioneer n his music is always on point lyrically, flow, production whatever, mos always has it on lock. i actually got a new mixtape by him like a month ago n it hasnt lef tmy cd player since. as far as the clothing, who really cares? i mean he does have good style tho so im sure itll b some high class shit. n hes a great actor i saw him on that mtv shit years n years ago n 16 blocks is a fantastic movie id definitely see him in a mob type movie
