Mobb Deep Seek Blood Money

http://media.defsounds.com/uploads/assets/1725/1743/9144/asset.jpgInfamous rap group Mobb Deep allege ex manager Norman "Purfel Storm" Bell, produced unauthorized albums using copyrighted recordings and use of the groups name without permission.

In court documents obtained through TMZ, the duo Prodigy and Havoc claim Mr. Bell released musical performances and compositions that have been/or currently being sold at retail outlets. Bell is also charged with forging the rappers signature allowing distribution of the recordings.


The albums listed in the suit were the following:

"Mobb Deep The Infamous Archive"

- A double album released March 13, 2000


"Mobb Deep The Mixtape Before 9/11

- album released October 5 ,2004


"Purfek Storm Volume 1 & 3"

According to the rappers, they are owed over a million dollars in back royalties from the albums.

lets be real, mobb deep reached their prime already, there really arent a whole lot of rap cats that last a lifetime in the game, and even less duos. lets free p and they need to make another run, not necessarily an album, at least a tape or two and fa sho some shows, thats where the money at anyway. not too many cats gettin gwap off album sales other than your big name artists, and if it dont work out for them, they need to bow out gracefully, bottom line, suing a dude for a milli off some royalties whose total profits probably didnt make that much is weak

Yeah I Peeped this joint in best buy, I was shook cuz it clearly had nothing to do either Hav or P, even the Art was funky,…this manager will get his ass chewed up in Court, you the Mobb Got that New Money to get them Jew-Jew-Jew-Jew-Unit lawyers….
And as fare as Mobb Deep goes, they still got it, I could care less about what y’all cats have to say,…I picked up The KUSH (fi-ya) & HNIC 2 (ether); both albums are hard, but P’s shit was hardbody fuck what y’all heard….it’s one of if not the Hottest album out this year thus far,….i’m sure That Nas will push this over
