Once you think Miss Jones has relaxed, she finds another target to aim at. This time it’s Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco. She made an announcement, stating that she was going to “rally” against Lupe’s feature on Musiq Soulchilds recent “Buddy” remix.
Jones said that the heads at Def Jam will be hearing about her boycott soon, claiming that Lupe “brought down the quality of the song”, and that “His verses made no sense at all, and were irrelevant to the songs content”.They spent further time dissecting the song, mocking his lyrics the entire way,breaking down and chastising Lupes’ lyrical relevance & pointing out specific lines like:
“No, I don’t want your number, nor your name, nor a dance/ I don’t want your time, or your sign, or a chance/ because I’m so cooool, I’m so straight, Look I ain’t tryna hit, and I don’t want no date/look this point in time, currently on my grind, and I don’t want no distractions…”
Jones’ staff all felt the same way about the verse, and a member added that maybe “Lupe would prefer skating, then to want all those things.” Adding insult to injury, She then went on to announce a contest, in which amateur MC’s could put themselves on the song, in place of Lupes verse, and then put it on Youtube, promising to air it on the program. None of this has been made official yet, but those looking for a break can email the morning show at morningshow@hot97.com.

This is all a day after Kim and Em complied in Court to cease criticism of each other in the public for the well-being of their daughter. Apparently that was out the window, as Kim spoke vividly to Miss Jones, saying:
“How many songs has he done about me?”“How many interviews has he done where he’s talking about freedom of speech? ... I do a couple of interviews and he’s crying like a little girl.”
