Kanye, Lupe and Pharrel create supergroup
Some time ago, Lupe Fiasco mentioned in interviews about a “secret project with another superstar rapper and producer”. With the release of Kanye West’s new “Can’t Tell Me Nothin” mixtape, the secret was revealed in the form of a group consisting of Pharell, Kanye, and Lupe called “CRS”.Originally thought to be including Common, the threesome introduced their first track on the new West mixtape, titled “Us Placers”. More work from them is expected in the future, but for now we only have a sample of what they have to offer.
DMX’s Greatest Hits coming soon
Even though he has been out of sorts lately, Def Jam is gearing up to release a collection of Greatest Hits for rap star DMX. Titled “The Definition of X- Pick of the Litter”, it will encompass the best of the Mc’s catalogue including “Stop being greedy”, What’s my Name?”, “Get at Me Dog, and “What these Bitches Want”.
All songs were chosen from his 5 #1 albums throughout his career from 1998 until 2003. “The Definition of X- Pick Of the Litter” will appear in stores on June 12.
