Before the concert even began, the southern rapper spoke to the fans Via Press conference answering any question they might have had.
Although majority of the questions were geared toward the protesters, he still managed to speak about other topics including his upcoming movie projects, as well as the importance of hip hop and the importance of understanding where artist are coming from.
He also spoke about his Non profit organization, The Ludacris Foundation.
Ludacris said he wanted the protesters to know that he does not try to demean women and that he's not trying to send that message across in his music.
When asked if he felt that his music was sexist towards woman, the rapper said that he never comes in with the intention of disrespecting women.

During the concert Luda made sure to dedicate a couple of songs to the protesters, including "Move Bitch" and "Damn!" by YoungBloodZ. After having fun with the protesters he put his attention towards the woman in the crowd and performed
"Lovers and Friends," as well as "Money Maker."
24 of the 30 members of the University Police were also present to help maintain a safe concert but there were no incidents.
