where the new tracks and videos for the movement at??
thats koo somebody doin somethin positive. n dem tracks should be hot
krs one and nelly didnt these nigga beef a while back but shit another great thing for hip hop bring it back to the promise land
I was just thinking about Self Destruction song the other night. But there's only a select few people u can put on a newer version.... Common, Lupe, Talib, Kanye, maybe Nas and Luda and some others!!
There's no way Wayne and 50 or Busta for that matter should be on tha track... Not positive figures for a stop the violence campaign
Busta could fit in the mix not Wayne and 50 tho Wayne too in to drugs and everything 50 rap is about guns and violence. but Busta is a versatile rapper.
My prop was not for the comment but for the ass.
(had to do it)
I agree homie. He should drop Game as well, this cat reps a set at every chance.
co-sign all you guys...half of all those rappers talk about is how gangster they are and how quick they are to pull their gun..they should keep it real and stay on one side of the argument and stop being a buch of contradictory bitches!
Half da rappa's that was named mixtapes and album have violence on it
They need to call this album "CONTRADICTION" !
95% of the artists on this have been in jail, are in jail...or soon will be!
WTF?
~Be Eazy!
this shit is dumb, i mean big up to krs, but dudes like ti and the game arnt gonna stop putting violent based content on their records, so they shouldnt be apart of it period!!!...........I HATE A FUCKIN HYPOCRITE
Thats Real brah dont be a hyprocrite if u gonna say one thing and go against it da next day dont do it, it should be people who actual trying to stop the violence and not promoting it, like Krs one,Lyfe,Kanye West,Common,Master P,and some Gospel Rappers, 4real, do it right if u gonna do it or dont do it at all,but its still a good look and it brings a balance in the Music
yea.. but just like escoerv said, its not all about not saying it in your songs. It's about getting people to understand that what they do is just music and to destinguish that versus reality. What they say and what they do can be different things and you can call them hypocrits but they are entertainers. Is bruce willis a hypocrit because he doesnt kill people in real life but he does in movies? Can you consider an author a hypocrit because what he writes in his books arent what he does in real life? Take music for what it is, just another form of entertainment and remember nobody said that rap music is all non-fiction
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ lol

Violence is a byproduct of Man's insecurity, fear, and ignorance. It has always been around, it will always be around. How about we stop the violence by starting the "let's take education serious" initiative...
Lil Wayne, Cassidy, 50 Cent , Busta Rhymes, and Snoop Dog, The Game and T.I. is the main nigga be talking about killing people what the fuck they doing there. they going to say stop the violence and the next day go to the booth talk about nine this, Ak47 that, blast this nigga. What the fuck is wrong with this picture and game a blood so he can't rap about some shit Common would.
this is bullshit I know krs is like a god in the hip hop community but this is some hypocritical bullshit

The same niggas calling these rappers hypocrites are the same ones in other threads calling niggas haters because rappers "just trying to get they money".
You niggas contradict your own self more than the rappers do.

KRS is dat dude ...
yall keep sayin that the rappers involved is contradicting they lyrics blah blah blah well who else they gone get??? they need ppl that the youth actually give a dam about they not gone listen 2 you or me right?
u cant jus have some random ass no names or ppl that they dnt even know or never heard of doin this campaign u know how many campaigns in jus a city there probably are??? this is gonna make a bigger impact because of who they are trust me
theres a couple they could put on but like you said theyre all garbage and the cd would be weaker than it already is
The campaigns movement I heard was actually doing really good! Im very impressed HipHops doing it thing and making an effort to give back to the community and show a posistive influence for these youngsters out there. Thats what it SHOULD be about... Influencing positivity especially during these crucial times. There is a really informative article on his stop the viloence movement and grass roots organization. Check it out!
