According to the Associated Press, Hosea Thomas, who was also found guilty of felonious assault and illegal possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, will not be up for parole until 2074.
Last month, T.I. delivered an emotional testimony about the 2006 incident in which Johnson was killed.
The incident reportedly started with a fight at a Roselawn club where T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, performed.
After the fight spilled onto the streets, prosecutors say Thomas and his brother, Padron Thomas, started shooting at the van in which T.I. and his entourage were riding.
When the gun battle ended at the Seymour Avenue exit, Johnson was dead and four others in the vehicle were hurt.
A trial date for Padron, Thoma's brother, has not yet been set.

if someone murdered one of your family members, and the murderer was standing right next to you, wouldnt you tell a cop “hey!! he shot my cousin!!! it was him!!!”
be realistic….snitching is one thing, but getting justice for someone is another
im from stop snitchin baltimore n even all them said there is a huge diffrence between snitchin n justice. if u kill an innocent person or a child or somethin u cant expect someone not to go to the cops.

He got caught preparing to go to war, Feds had him, the local authorities suddenly get the shooters (coincedently days before TI gets his plea deal), they called in a favor from the feds to have TI testify at the trial on behalf of the prosecution as a part of his deal (along with community service, those crimestoppers ads, payoffs and possibly more snitching) TI says “Ok but I aint pointin out the nigga or nothin, I’ll just say what happened that day”(Which he convices himself isnt snitching but is still snitching cuz without witnesses to paint the picture of what happened and how the events took place they dont got much to stand on without physical evidence an they aint never mention no gun or fingerprints so for all we know TI’s testimony was HUGE for the prosecution) and here we are.

i swear niggas need to real up if u know wat i mean, this isnt the 80s & 90s when cops was always beatin down niggas and shit all the time, we are passed that now. y wud u want to protect the killer of ur friend ?
This doesnt mean that if you just walking down the street and someone out of the clear blue just robs you and pops you or your man for no reason that you dont send him to jail.
But if YOU CHOOSE to involve yourself in a gangster lifestyle, and YOU CHOOSE to make records consistantly stating how YOU’D pop a nigga and body a nigga and you a G etc. and YOU CHOOSE to go to other peoples hometowns and flaunt your wealth instead of being humble, and YOU CHOOSE to get involved in brawls and club fights instead of leaving leaving at the first sign of drama, then YOU accept the role YOU and your best friend (if he conducts himself in the same manner as you) had in the consequenses.
This goes for people who CHOOSE to hustle and get caught and decide to snitch to get a lesser sentence
People who CHOOSE to rob or steal and those who CHOOSE to kill and decide they dont wanna accept full responsibilty and bring others down to lighten thier sentence or get off completly.
You cannot CHOOSE to be a gangster when everything is going good and then swtch up when there is a consequense to YOUR CHOICE to lead a gangster lifestyle. BE A MAN, STICK IT OUT IT WAS YOUR DECSISION FROM THE JUMP.
That is what no snitching is truly about and if you cant respect that your whole perspective is wack.
