The LP certain lived up to the hype clocking 957,000 units sold during it's first week of release making it Kanye's highest sales week date as well as becoming the highest sales week for an album in 2007.
Completing his college series, West is now getting ready to release his fourth LP this December. Originally rumored to be titled "Good Ass Job," West's "808's & Heartbreak" has been confirmed with a December 16th,2008 release date.
As previously reported, West debuted the lead cut off the album, "Love Lockdown," at MTV's 2008 Video Music Awards.
West says he wrote the song "a week and a half ago," and comments on the track on his blog saying "It's my favorite song 2 date!! Go where your heart takes you...."
In other news…
Rumored collaborations come from the usual suspects, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, & T- Pain-- who will also be appearing alongside West on "Therapy," a track off Pain's forthcoming LP Thr33 Ringz, set to hit stores on November 11th, 2008.

I don't think "Good Ass Job" is a bad title but I think it would have been misleading. That title would fit the theme of his other 3 albums' titles, and the direction he is going musically on this one is gonna be way different. I think this album is just him branching out creatively, circa Andre 3stacks & the Love Below. I think this one will be better though just for the simple fact, Dre's album lagged production wise at times, where as Kanye is one of the greatest producers of our time. Can't wait for it, I don't care if it is totally different from what I'm used to hearing from him, I know it will be something I will be listening to for a long time.
