Kanye West Headlines Essence Festival, Gives Us A Sneak Peek At New Video

Chicago Mc Kanye West has been tapped to headline this year's Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, the announcement was made Thursday for the July festival, which celebrates African-American music and culture. An estimated 200,000 people attended last year.

The event, which will take place from July 4 - July 6, will also feature performances from Chris Rock, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Morris Day and The Time, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.

In related news, Kanye has granted fans a sneak peek of his upcoming video for the single "Home Coming" featuring. Chris Martin off "Graduation."
