Rapper Kanye West must be keeping his ears to the streets. The "Good Life," hitmaker is planning to rerelease his latest single, "Love Lockdown."
A very rough version of the track, which is the lead single to West's forthcoming LP, "808's & Heartbreak," hit the web after debuting at this years MTV Video Music Awards.
"There's a new version of love Love Lockdown coming. We used new taiko drums and I re-sung it," says Kanye on his blog.
For the fans who have been expressing their discontent with West's heavy use of Auto-Tune lately, fear not, the rapper addressed your gripes as well.
"If you don't like autotune... too bad cause I love it and have been using it since the College Dropout!"
In related news, Hip Hop power player 50 cent took some time to express his support for West after mocking him in concert last week.
Fif admits he was shocked when he heard West had been arrested on vandalism charges after attacking a photographer at Los Angeles' LAX airport last week.
"I hope he's all right... He's gonna pay for that. I hope everything works out for him because, away from you having to pay your bail money and then you have to go through your legal fees and you have to go through the civil trial" said 50 during an interview at the Righteous Kill UK premiere.
"At some points it's uncomfortable... but now you have to accept it. Everyone has a cell phone... and can take pictures. I guess he wasn't in the mood that day. It's not the first time a star has got into it with the paparazzi; I think they actually look for it." Fif continued.

Not saying that all fans are gonna like everything that a musician does. And an artist SHOULD have a creative a license to try whatever they so choose……..
But with that being said i think his creative license is running out. He is quickly being exposed as not so much a “Prince” type artist who is blazing his own trail but more of a guy who is running with whats popular in the “rapper” circle.
I think Kanye is drunk on fame more than ever and has forgotten how he got here.
And for the record he has never used the Auto Tune on any record he has ever done previous to now. I checked!
