With his new single "Love Lockdown" sitting comfortably on the charts, rapper/producer Kanye West has announced through his personal blog, that he will be pushing up the date for his next album 808's & Heartbreak.
Kanye cited the reason for an earlier release as something he kind of just felt like doing. In a direct statement from his blog he say's
“I changed my album to November something, ’cause I finished the album and I felt like it, I want y’all to hear it as soon as possible.”
Kanye premiered his first single during the MTV Video Music Award earlier this month, and was initially set to release the album in December, possibly setting himself up for a fourth quarter showdown with big brother Jay Z.
Along with putting the finishing touches on his album, west is also working on tracks for Jay-Z's next studio album, "The Blueprint 3."
In other news…
Kanye's first single "Love Lockdown" has been downloaded over 200,000 times since its official release.

First And Foremost, It's called AUTO-TUNE. Vocoder is more of a robotic effect, Auto-Tune only sounds robotic when you sing WAY OFF FUCKEN KEY, or have the pitch detection as high as it goes. and a VoiceBox doesn't sound ANYTHING LIKE AUTO-TUNE. A VoiceBox uses piano notes, or MIDI notes, or whatever in place of the user's actual voice, and sounds comletely robotic, it has little to no human quality to it.
now that that's out of the way, on to issue number two.

Can't judge till we hear it but being heavily AutoTuned kinda turns me off. I know 'Ye does it pretty well (as good as anyone else out there), but this is clearly a passion project for him rather than something he really wants to be commercially successful in the rap world. Seems like he'll be going a little pop this time around. Again, I'll reserve judgment till November..

I think this will be a darker, more aggressive album (as aggressive as Kanye can possibly be.. ya know). I say this because Ye lost his mother (RIP) and went through a bitter break-up (suburban-sounding drama).
I always support Mr. West. He makes some of the highest quality Hip Hop out there right now.
It's also interesting to see the little subliminal shots Jay and Kanye throw at eachother from time to time. They're subtle, but if you're payin' attention... and you know Hip Hop... you can catch 'em. I'll be monitoring where that goes.
