John Witherspoon To Release Hip-Hop Album
by on July 9th, 2008
Comedian John Witherspoon, who has starred in many hit films and television series such as The Wayans Brothers and the Friday trilogy, brings us his first ever hip-hop album.
The album, which is titled 63 Cents, features production from Witherspoon's brother Ron and producer/rapper Big K. Featuring songs such as "Dance Now With Your Big Ole Ass," and "Don't Nobody Go In The Bathroom,"
Witherspoon claims he penned the majority of the album. But don't expect any fine-tuned vocals or autotune on this project, as Witherspoon says "It's just me. It may not be the best rappin' in the world, but it's funny as hell. Very entertaining."
Promotion and funding for at least two videos will come out of Witherspoon's own pocket. 63 Cents is slated to be released on iTunes sometime in the near future.
