If Budden had signed he would have been in the same label as artist such as Obie Trice, D12, and 50 cent.
When asked by Sixshot about whether the signing was true or just a rumor Budden replied "Yeah, Thats a Rumor", when asked if they had ever tried to contact him he stated
"I'm not going to say that, but far as me being in heavy talks with them... no. As far as us being close to closing a deal....no".
Budden was released from his contract with Def Jam records in late 2007 after continued delays of his sophomore album "The Growth.

Budden will also be releasing an album version of his mixtape Mood Music 3 on February 28th via Amalgam Digital.
