A source close to the deal says, "“That will make the 40/40 club in Vegas the largest sports booking operation. People can gamble both at the tables and on games. The Sands will also have the right to open 40/40 clubs in London and across Europe.”
For those not familiar with the club, the multi-level upscale sports bar and lounge features 85 Plasma screen TV’s. In addition to the main room, the club also offers 5 exclusive VIP rooms that fans of the 40/40 club became accustomed to in New York City. The interior consists of 24kt gold and platinum floors, as well as five, 40 foot bi-level bars throughout the club. The space will also includes an additional 3,000 square foot bar and lounge area on the outdoor terrace.
