Despite already having stake in the New Jersey Nets, it looks like Hip Hop Mogul Sean "Jay-Z" Carter may be looking into investing in America's favorite past time, and is looking to buy shares into the New York Yankees.
Along with shares in the New Jersey Nets, Jay-Z also has his sports club franchise 40/40, so he is no stranger to making investments. Just recently, he singed a $150 million dollar deal with Live Nation, as well as an advertising company with Steve Stout.
Jay had also been in talks to invest in a soccer team based in London "Arsenal Football Club" but the deal never happened."I had invested in the Nets, and they (Arsenal bosses) asked me if I was interested in investing. But I get that from time to time," Jay told London's Time Out magazine. "Someone told me yesterday that someone else had a piece of the New York Yankees, 'We wanna talk to you, yadda yadda yadda.' I mean, I love the Yankees so I'm in the middle of following that through, but sometimes it comes to be nothing. That (Arsenal) was one of the times it came to nothing."

chiefs, you partially correct but the economy is fucked right now because the war is costing millions every week. Period. While Clinton was in office, we were at peace and the internet blossomed, creating jobs, and erasing the deficit, creating an enormous surplus of over 11 trillion dollars. It's full circle now, less jobs being available sends more people into the military. Gas prices skyrocketing lines the pockets of the oil companys. Every time anything is built in Iraq, Cheney and Bush recieve the contract via Haliburton which further puts tax payers dollars ino their own pockets.
