Jay Z sued by Wrestler,Diamond Dallas Page
Wrestler Diamond Dallas Page has added the Rocawear clothing line to his on going copyright infringement case against Jay Z. The lawsuit, which was originally filed in December of 2005 claims that Jay Z’s diamond hand gesture was illegally adopted from Page’s patented diamond cutter symbol.
Kanye West Sued By Evil Knievel
Retired daredevil Evil Knievel has filed a law suit against Kanye West claiming the rapper portrayed him without permission in his $1,000,00 video Touch The Sky. Knievel filed the lawsuit claiming infringement on his trademark name and likeness and says the “vulgar and offensive” images depicted in the video damage his reputation. He was quoted as saying, “That video that Kanye West put out is the most worthless piece of crap I’ve ever seen in my life, and he uses my image to catapult himself on the public.”
Lupe wants to work with Pink Floyd
After working with the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West, and Jill Scott on his debut album, Lupe Fiasco has set his sight on collabin with a popular Rock band for his next album. “I got my wish list on my last album so I made this one unattainable,” he tells Billboard.com. “Now I want to work with Pink Floyd, or the remnants of Pink Floyd.”
Fiasco says the next album will be titled “The Cool” and will only feature production from the up-and-coming collaborators utilized on the debut, such as Soundtrakk and Prolyfic. “I’m coming up with concepts, but I need to find a way to wean myself off the Internet,” he admits. “I think I need to break my laptop. Lyrically, it’s going to be intense, but nothing is recorded as of yet.”
