It’s been 6 years since Styles P, Sheek Louch, and Jadakiss, also known as The LOX, have blessed the public with an album. Jada stopped by Hot 97 and shared a little info about their upcoming plans.
“The Lox album should be coming in may or June, and then I wanna follow that with a Kiss album,” said Jada. “It’s been 6 years since the last Lox album, but it’s fun and easy to see how the music sounds after all these years.” Kiss declined to officially announce which label he was signing to, due to current negotiations, but he did say that “It should be done by next week”
Across the industy,
Field Mob’s Shawn J was arrested in Florida on March 27th, and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, plus resisting arrest. Shawn(real name Timothy Johnson), was apprehended by Jacksonville law enforcement. Unfortunately, this isn’t his first time being arrested. He has a previous incident dating back to 2004 involving him kidnapping a 6 year old child that he claimed to be the father of.
Shawn is scheduled to show up in front of a judge on April 9th to plead his case.

as for the lox album. im going to see what they drop on the mixtapes and radio from their album. why is everyone now dropping in june, july and august? the whole year started off with nobody and now this? this is another reason why sales are so slow.

hot lyrics dont make an album FLAWLESS. if the production sucks, listening to lyrics will become bland. just like a hot instrumental with no lyrics is just stupid. that album had horrible production. horrible hooks. honestly jada is probably the best alive, but he cannot make a hit to save his life. and songs that could be hits (thug it out/ugly) are to raw and griddy for todays urban radio.
