Jadakiss, real name Jason Phillips, entered a not guilty plea this morning (2.08.07) to the charges which stem from an October 7th, 2006 arrest. Jada was arrested with 3 other men in his hometown of Yonkers after cops found Marijuana and a gun during a traffic stop.
According to the Toronto Star, the rapper’s lawyer, Clement Patti, said, “I have yet to see or hear of any evidence connecting my client to possessing this weapon.” He said Jadakiss was in the back seat and did not know there was a gun in the front console.
If convicted, Jadakiss would face 16 months to seven years in prison. The law was toughened in November to provide a minimum sentence of 3.5 years for the Gun Charges.

This charge really doesnt concern me becuase it's too petty. My baby's in law school and she ran everything down to me. To make a long story short... one gun and sum but 3 dudes. The ONE dude that "dem boys" would love to lock up in order to make an example is neither the owner of the car, nor the weapon... so what can they do? If anything the charges go to the owner of the car by default. As long as Kiss doesnt "legally" own the whip... then he skates away to smoke bud, and joyride in a gun carrying whip another day!
