Busta was being detained after he was refused entry into the UK because of "unresolved convictions" in the US.
Immigration officials had originally tried to put him on an immediate flight to Amsterdam, but Busta's lawyer was able to secure an injunction to prevent that from happening.
His lawyer argued that Busta's detention was against the law saying: "It seems to me that it is difficult to see upon what basis the temporary admission of the claimant or his temporary release into the jurisdiction has been refused. In all the circumstances it seems to me that he is entitled to an order that he be released forthwith or alternatively is entitled to bail."
Busta's lawyer then when on to say that his client had plans to stay at a hotel in London until the concert, and then return to the United States that Saturday Morning.
In other news…
Busta was supposed to be performing at Orange RockCorps, in a concert that was awarded to 5000 people at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The fans got their tickets by spending four hours doing volunteer community projects.
US soul star John Legend is also due to appear, as are rock bands Feeder, The Automatic and Guillemots.
The Co Founder of RockCorps, Stephen Greene, was surprised at the "Sequence of events" as well as "The Treatment of Busta". He went on to say:
"He has the necessary work-permit and has been in the country twice already this year, so we're a little puzzled that a question mark is now being placed over his ability to enter the country to perform to volunteers."
Ludacris ended up performing for Busta as a last minute replacement.

That was some bullshit what the hell were those immigrant officials thinking were they looking for hand outs or something?
i guess every nation has the hip hop police in full effect.
I think that the "unresolved convictions" may have had something to do with Busta's previous altercations with the law back in the states (maybe the bodyguard incident?), so bashing customs and the UK isn't really necessary here. Just read between the lines.
