According to LiveNews, ten NYPD cars moved in on the nightclub near Time Square in what appeared to be a raid.
The police seemed to get ansty when the party goers became hostile, eventually calling for back up.
To make the situation worse, there are rumors that someone set off the fire alarm, in result causing the Fire Department to arrive at the scene as well.

Snoop eventually showed up a little after twelve and the crowd had to be subdued by the officers.

No Arrest were made and the NYPD did not give a reason for showing up. They have yet to release a statement explaining why they had such a presence at the venue.
