Mobb Deep member Havoc has been making moves as of late, the most major one being his partnership with NY based software company Voxonic Inc. to release international voicetones with Vox’s Voxtones division.
Along with the tones, Voxonic will also convert a single from Havocs’ future solo album, and translate it into different foreign languages. Pleased with their progress, he said,
“Working with Voxonic will be a great opportunity for me to diversity my fan base as a solo artist,” said Havoc, who sees the potential for other artists who come aboard. “This project will also show other artist there are a lot of different ways to market our product and create revenue for ourselves.”
Voxonic Inc. facilitates the technological equipment used to convert voices into over 1400 languages with 99% accuracy. Havocs’ involvement with the company was handled through his manager, Norman Bell.
Arei Deutsch, president of Voxonic, believes that this alliance will encourage labels to better cater to t he needs of international music fans.
“Voxonic’s technology provides artists the opportunity to grow their fan base amongst music lovers internationally,” explained Deutsch.” “With marketing opportunities such as this, I am sure this will infinitely help major record labels, establish a stronger following for their artists upcoming or in markets where they never dreamed possible.”
Voxonic has also just brokered a deal with underground staple Rawkus Records, announcing in January that they would use the software to convert a single from Naledge’s debut album “Naledge is power”.

Debuting at #1 on the billboard charts with 99,000 copies in the U.S is his “Greatest Hits” album. This is B.I.G’s 3rd chart topping album. The album features classic tracks by the legend, along with two previously unrealeased songs, “Want that old thing back”, and “Running Your Mouth”. The Anniversary of his death just recently passed as well.

You know records sell are down when the number 1 album of the week sell only 99,000 copies.
Yeah...Hip Hop is Dead :(
But big ups to BIG!! :)
would foreign ppl want to hear havoc's music?
^^^^^^i think so....do ur thing Havoc
R.I.P BIG
FUCK G-UNIT
Fuckin Aye!!!!! Do you Hav.That's one of the best moves for this nigga right their, because Mobb deep isn't making alot of noise right now.Mobb deep is one of my all time favorite rap groups,But they're not doing that good as far as numbers go.Along with that being said i think they also lost alot of their fans when they signed to G-unit.If you look at the numbers before they signed with g-unit they where making more, now that they're on g-unit they hardly went gold with this album.Alot of artist jumped on g-unit at the end of their tour.MOP jumped out the window also,An they still didn't come out with anything to date.Sounds like just maybe they should had stayed on their old label, because their not doing anything right now and their one of the best hardcore rap groups out.As for Mase i don't want to hear anything from that man,He went to god then came back an signed with g-unit an then started talking real hate type shit wow,That nigga just won him a free pass to hell an do not pass go.But did everybody notice how Prodigy switched up his attitude when he signed with g-unit.That nigga was really feeling his self. That nigga was all up in the videos like he was killing something LOL.But he should had been trying to kill that bullshit cd they came out with. That was the worse album they made. Not to try and pass the blame on g-unit because that was all Prodigy fault with his little bitchy attitude. But Good fuckin move HAV.
B I G #1 wow! but if 99,000 copies were sold in the US an thats a big deal then alot of these new artist will go belly up soon. And by the way im sorry BIG but i downloaded the shit from the web it was free and i couldn't pass it up.
PNOBRONX~ I WOULD download it but for what?? I have ALL of Big's shit. Why waste the money buying and yet another BIG cd with the same songs on it??? It's just "Fluffy" back at it again. I've been told everybody that "Fluffy" was going to drop a Big cd every year around Big's death date. Just like clockwork he has...
The same material every year except a different beat and or featured artist.
Big is one of my favorites hands down... but it's pointless to keep buying the same cd~
~Be Eazy!
Biggie didn't sell that much because all the songs are on Ready to die or Life after death. It's not like it's new material. So what do you expect him to sell?
RIP Biggie
fuck slime jones
damn an album selling 99k is on top of the charts these days... that's kinda bad. But good looks for Havoc
i like Havoc but i dont really fuck wit Mobb Deep anymore since they joined G-Unit
Mobb Deep has a greater fan base outside of the US than in the US, I think more people still respect G-Unit in other countries rather than our own, over here the beef between rappers is so thick, other countries arent involved in it as much as we are.....the days of the Infamous and Hell on Earth are gone, I guess we'll just have to settle for what they give us now, although if they keep that up, I dont know how long they will last, at least here in the states.....and this is coming from a Mobb fan...
Oh, and I totally agree with you Whiz....who the hell would buy the Biggie's greatest hits album?? Ive got both albums so theres no point, thats the main reason it only sold 99,000 units, niggas already got both albums......still RIP Biggie, the GOAT.....just my opinion!! LOL....
Well PAC greatest hits album went 9X Plat...oh but yeah he's just the greatest and most influential rapper of all time...
Shout outs to Mobb Deepyall fuckin up...but what yall did in the past puts you in history forever! good decision HAV!
niggas to hatin on MAse that nigga can spit...at least when he really wants too
1
lol@chaos's statement about Pac's Greatest hits going 9X Plat. I didnt' think it was quite THAT much. But definitely a good rebuttal to what everyone else is saying about why Big's not selling.... very good point
No it really did...LOL haha thats whats so fucking funny..go check the stats yourself
I agree with what you saying though...
do foreigners even know who havoc is??
^^^^^i think so
do foreigners even know who havoc is??
You would be surprise at some of the American rap artist foreigners know.Especially in Germany and Japan.
England and France too...
Yea! England is heavy with the Hip Hop nowadays.. I met this British chick who was tryna tell me about the tribe and why they're so great.. I'm like yo.. I know.. I went through that when I was in grade school haha.. but she held her own in our little hip hop convo..
interesting... thanks guys.
I'm glad that album came out cause it proves ten years after death and biggie still iz #1.
99k..i dont think i need to say more
It's not just hip-hop all music sales are down that's real bad when a #1 album sells ony 99,000 copies smh
is the unit
