Game Charged For Funeral Brawl
West Coast rapper The Game has been formally charged with criminal battery for attacking a family member.
The charges stem from an incident earlier this year in which The Game allegedly assaulted his cousin, Robert Kirkwood, during his sisters funeral in early July.
According to reports, The Game had promised to pay at least half of a bill to bury Kirkwood's sister. But according to Kirkwood, soon after the promise, The Game changed his number and began avoiding Kirkwood.
Kirkwood went on to say that he didn't hear from Game again until the day of the funeral[July 5] when he [Game] unexpectedly showed up and began to speak about family values and kinship.
Kirkwood, who was very upset by this, confronted the rapper outside of the funeral home, and alleges that Game punched him in the face.
According to reports, Game could be tossed back in jail if he is convicted of the battery charge since he is currently on probation for a firearms offense.
Nas Denounces Primo Rumors:
New York rapper Nas has officially denounced rumors of a collaborative album with legendary producer Dj Premier.

The rumor, which had been circulating for some time now, was reignited during a July 2008 interview with MTV in which Nas speculated that he might release two albums simultaneously, one produced entirely by Dj Premier, and the other produced entirely by Dr. Dre.
However, in a recent interview with Dj Semtex, Nas says that his words were just wishful thinking.
"That's just--that's just wishful thinking," Nas tells Semtex. "Nothing's concrete yet."
