Instead, Eminem and 50 Cent show up to 106 and Park yesterday with their crew (Banks, Yayo, Bobby Creekwater and Stat Quo), for what was apparently supposed to be a promo-spot for The Re-Up (which drops today) and act like an old married couple whose relationship is on the rocks.
In the uncomfortable duration of that interview, we got to see a frustrated/high-looking Em, and a cocky/attention-seeking 50. 50 Cent repeatedly interrupted Eminem while he was answering questions to more often bring the subject back to him than to help his stuttering friend finish his thoughts. He further went on to subliminally mention what seemed like the failed projects of Yayo, Banks and Mobb Deep, and topped off the interview by interrupting Eminem’s promo spot for the Re-Up by bitching about Jimmy Iovine, randomly dissing Fat Joe, and yelling G-Unit repeatedly into the cameras.
Yeah, that’s not the way to fight over-saturation fif, and right now, I’m quite embarrassed to call myself a fan.

COMMENTS
em was high...lol....shit funny....50 talks so much shit about game...but look he wanted attention like a lil bitch...lol...fucking actors..
i saw dat on TRL earlier dat day then i watch it on 106 and park later dat day i think was finishin Em's thoughts cuz he was so fucked up but u can tell it took Em like 3 or 4 min 2 get his words out as 4 50 he just still imma b in da spot light he kno Em is a better rapper but he just don't want everybody 2 kno dat it bothers him a lot
50 could have said less and let em speak
50 was tryin make eminem appear stable, eminem was high and everything he said was coming out wrong so therefore 50 kept cutting him off to cover for him
I think u guys at def sounds are looking too far into this one, 50 was attention grabbing but he has always been a bit annoying especially since this is not 2003 and he's not on top anymore, eminem hardly ever talks on camera at least not since his goofy days during the slim shady/marshall mathers lp's when he hosted trl and shit like that, so yeah the shady/g unit team aint what it used to be but it's live tv so give them a break, but they could've let banks and yayo and the new guy talk.
When I first saw this I was pissed at 50, but I later realized that he was doing the right thing, according to him anyway. Eminem was clearly high as shit, and is known not liking attention - 50, realizing all the focus was on Em, probably knew this was bothering him, especially cuz he was high, so tried to bring the attention to himself. It came off as him being rude and desparate for attention, but I think he was just getting Em's back, trying to keep the pressure off him. The friendship is deeper than we can know, plus there is always more to what we know or think we know from an what we see on a screen.
AIRKAT...YOU'RE REACHING HERE. FIF WAS OBVIOUSLY JUST TRYNA COVER FOR HIS BOY....EM WAS TRIPPIN' ON SUMTHIN'...HE COULDN'T EVEN ANSWER A QUESTION RIGHT. FIF AND EM ARE VERY FRIENDLY WITH EACHOTHER, THEY CLOWNIN'.BUT I DON'T THINK EM IS READY TO BE BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT YET, HE HAD A HARD YEAR. EM'S TURMOIL MAKES FOR GREAT MUSIC BUT HE NEEDS TO GET HIS HEAD RIGHT.
Yeah, very well could be, however he still came off as an ass. On top of that, he interrupted and clowned Banks and he didn't look like he needed help.
CALLATE 50CENTADOS
I feel slack for yayo..didnt say shit in that
50 WAS FINISHING HIS HIGH FRIEND STATEMENTS BECUZ THE WORLD KNEW HE WAS HIGH.... STUPID....YALL LOVE JOCKIN' I C..
Look, I am a huge Eminem fan and all. But, after watching the video, I kinda knew what Em was high on, lol. I figure that out from the get-go. Even though I do not like 50 cuz he is the 2000s version of a Ja-Rule. But, he did what he had to do to make sure that Em did not slip up. Those two dudes are friends and have each other's back, regardless of what Def Sounds broadcast or anyone else. I would have done the same for a friend if he/she was in that situation. People may have already knew that during the taping or realize it afterwards and all. Yea, 50 loves the spotlight and maybe a lil' annoyed cuz his time in the spotlight may be running up dry, along with his G-Unit crew and he still may have a gripe cuz Eminem is far better than him lyrically. But, at the end of the day, Em & Dre still signs checks for him and does have history with Em, so, he did the right thing a friend could do.
However, on the other hand, we may not know if Em was ever blowed or not cuz we were never able to hear him speak a lot. 50 did it right, however, he could have came off a different way. Em has a history of public appearance where he was stuttering or had difficult times to get his words out. He has said countless times that he does not like interviews a lot, thats why he doesn't perform many interviews. But, it doesn't excuse this account at all, don't think I am offending him. But, I would have like to hear him speak and get anything out for himself, instead of 50 tryin to be cocky or interruptin him. In the end, they were there to promote "The Re-Up" album (which by the way, it is a great compilation album) and 50 got really off topic and bashin others along the way. They should have just stuck to the script and promoted that album. Also, they should have allowed new artists, Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo, to get some publicity and a chance to market themselves, instead of 50 subliminally hittin Interscope, for thie fail of Banks & Yayo's LPs, and other artists.
Look, let me inform you that your artists are not the only ones that are suffering in the lack of sales, 50. Nearly every single artists, from Rock to Rap, are suffering cuz everyone is downloading or bootlegging the cds. So, quit cryin bout your artists loosin sales. As for everyone else that you are dissin or don't like, we all know the B***h in you, so relax homie. But, for anyone who may think differently of the film, its understandable. We all have opinions and we all may like them or dislike them. But, at the end of the day, we cannot judge these clips cuz they were cut and assemble here. We all must watch the whole interview in its entire form to get a better understanding of what we observed.
P.S. I do agree with Living Proof, Em has gone through a turmoilious year, with the loss of Proof and the divorce and everything else. He should have waited for a lil bit more before coming back into the spotlight. He does need to gather his thoughts together and, in the end, it will become great music that Em always does. Can't wait till his new albums comes!!!!
yea def 50 did da rite thing...even though he waz alittle annoying...i think evrwun der new wut he wuz doin so dea werent reacting.....eminemn wuz on sumthin
shut up diggidy you know nothing about nothin little b*tch, 50 held that shit down and em was high out of his mind, everytime he covered em he bigged em up and mentioned re-up and thats what it is , trouble on the label what a stupid headline.. ggggunit
you can really see how tight em and fifty are
