According to the New York City Police Department, famous rapper Foxy Brown was held up in a BK housing project on June 23rd. The 4 assailants reportedly robbed her of a Luis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash, and all of her credit cards.
NYPD has taken 23 year old Roshawn Anthony into custody, charging her with 1st Degree robbery, 2nd Degree assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. However, Foxy denies that any of this is due to her being robbed, as she claims she wasn’t even in the area.
The NY Daily News paints a different picture of the incident though, saying that Foxy had attended a party in said housing project with a boyfriend. According to their sources, Foxy broke up with him later that night, and he ordered a group of women to attack Brown.
” I have friends all over Brooklyn but I was not there last night”, she said. “I just got back this morning from Miami. A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips.”
