The album will be the Fat Joe’s follow up to, “Me Myself and I”, which spawned the double platinum hit single, “Make It Rain” featuring New Orleans’ rapper Lil Wayne.
The new album will feature production from Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, DJ Khaled, The Runners and Danjahandz, while hosting rappers like Rick Ross, Fabolous, P. Diddy and others make guest appearances.
The rapper was quoted , “Working with Imperial is one of the greatest moves I ever made in my life. I never made as much money in my career as I have since I went independent. The Elephant in the Room is guaranteed to be a classic.”
Imperial Records will market, promote and distribute the album, which is Fat Joe’s eighth.
“Fat Joe is in a zone on this album, which is now his eighth solo work and I think it’s his strongest to date. It’s truly amazing to be working with an artist that’s getting better and better over time. He’s never sounded more confident.”
The Elephant in the Room is due in stores in early 2008.
