According to The New York Daily News, Shamel McKinney, 25, was knifed in the chest and back while partying at Club Duvet early Friday.
Though details of the attack are scarce, New York City Detectives have found a bloody 7-inch switchblade in a nearby dumpster and have ceased video from local surveillance cameras.

According to reports, McKinney was a longtime friend of Fabolous, who authorities claim was at nightclub hours before the incident.
No motive for the attack has been determined.
