Eminem's 'Relapse' Pushed To Next Year, Clipse To Release Clothing Line

On MTV’s finale for “Total Request Live” Sunday, rapper/producer/actor and award winning hip-hop superstar Eminem called in to wish the show farewell and also give some insight into the release of his highly anticipated new album, 'Relapse'. Host Carson Daly did his best to try to get as much info out of Em as possible, but the rapper was tight-lipped about the upcoming project.
Em did however once again confirm the album's title and also said he had recorded over 100 songs for it. While it was previously reported that the album would be hitting shelves in December of this year, Em said that it will actually be being released “sometime in the 1st quarter of next year.”
Malice and Pusha T, collectively known as The Clipse, announced recently that the Virginia hip-hop duo would be releasing a clothing line which is set to hit stores this Friday, November 21st. The clothing line named "Play Cloths", is said to be a blend of American style, with the French Riviera and
Monte Carlo uses of rich, vibrant primary colors to create collectible
garments. Play Cloths was created with the help of designer Doug Life, and as
Malice puts it, is “all about trying to recreate the whole feeling of
trying to get that fly s**t.”
Pusha and Malice will also debut a new mixtape for their fans entitled Road To ‘Til’ The Casket Drops’, which will be available as a free download on December 1st.

Pushing albums back is the lamest trend these days...makes me not even wanna buy the shit on principle alone...i've been waiting for a year for Em, Jay, Cam, 50, Ye (and i don't mean 808's)...and at least 3 years for Dre and Buddens...and right when you thinkg you'll get ALL AT ONCE...we get...NOTHING...fuck them...that's why i make my own damn music...it's ready when i wanna hear that shit!...1

Not only Em, Jay, Cam, 50, Ye, and Dre's albums are being pushed back, it seems like every album now a days has to be pushed back at least once. Why even set a release date if you can't make it?

Exactly. I wonder about some of these dudes on here sometimes. Did yall think Em was gonna all of a sudden put out his FIRST single in a few days and then drop the album 3 weeks or so later? Come on. It'll be at least 10 weeks between that first single and the album's release. Em always builds a huge buzz like that. The only reason I wanted it to drop this year was to shatter Wayne's record.

I like eminem, but I dont think he is going to "shatter" waynes record, but he might have a shot at beating it. This fourth quarter looked so promising but not anymore. d3 was wack, everybodys albums are getting pushed back, and kanyes album isnt going to be that great.

He might of recorded over a 100 songs, but only a select few of thos get put on the record.. half of them will be trash, some might get put on mixtapes, you will only hear the top songs on the actual cd its self.
