According to TMZ, Em needed emergency care for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia.
Sources tell the entertainment tabloid the rappers weight has shot up to over 200 pounds.
According to his publicist, Em is back at home recovering.
"Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia.
He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."
In other news…
Em is said to have finished recording his highly anticipated forthcoming LP tentatively titled, King Mathers, due out this summer.

Reasonable doubt > marshall mathers lp...sorry kids but its tha truth.
em is ARGUABLY better than jay if u want 2 count success em got it lyrical ability its a toss up but i got em over jay but jay has more hits obviously but em and jay match up real well but em got em
yea em's got it lyrically ova jay. he killed jay on renegade
lool see, i sparked a war, if u said jay better than em then ur opinion dont matter, its like this, jay has more hits like birdman05 said, thats true. but he also thinks em is better, i mean why wud jay-z say if he had to go serious at sum1 in the game it wud have to be eminem, there is no1 left as competition but eminem, he would bury any artist, eminem can be commercial, but he can lyrically kill any rapper out ther, remember soldier on the eminem show, listen, and cum back, jay can match those lyrics, not jus yet lol, RENEGAde,I say nomore
cant match those lyrics*
Please tell me how on a collabo that Em is clearly better than Jay on this song?
[Jay-Z]
Motherfuckers -
say that I'm foolish I only talk about jewels (bling bling)
Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?
See I'm influenced by the ghetto you ruined
That same dude you gave nothin, I made somethin doin
what I do through and through and
I give you the news - with a twist it's just his ghetto point-of-view
The renegade; you been afraid
I penetrate pop culture, bring 'em a lot closer to the block where they
pop toasters and they live with their moms got drop roasters from botched robberies niggas crouched over
mommies knocked up cause she wasn't wached over knocked down by some clown when child support knocked
no he's not around tnow how that sound to ya, jot it down
I bring it through the ghetto without ridin 'round
hidin down duckin strays from frustrated youths stuck in they ways
Just read a magazine that fucked up my day
How you rate music that thugs with nothin relate to it i help them see their way through it - not you cant step in my pants cant walk in my shoes bet everything you worth you lose your tie and your shirt
[Eminem]
Since I'm in a position to talk to these kids and they listen
I ain't no politician but I'll kick it with 'em a minute
Cause see they call me a menace; and if the shoe fits I'll wear it
But if it don't, then y'all'll swallow the truth grin and bear it
Now who's these king of these rude ludicrous lucrative lyrics
Who could inherit the title, put the youth in hysterics
Usin his music to steer it, sharin his views and his merits
But there's a huge interference - they're sayin you shouldn't hear it
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish
But I'm debated disputed hated and viewed in America
as a motherfuckin drug addict - like you didn't experiment?
Now now, that's when you start to stare at who's in the mirror
and see yourself as a kid again, and you get embarrased
And I got nothin to do but make you look stupid as parents
You fuckin do-gooders - too bad you couldn't do good at marriage!
(Ha ha!) And do you have any clue what I had to do to get here I don't
think you do so stay tuned and keep your ears glued to the stereo
Cause here we go - he's {*Jigga joint Jigga-chk-Jigga*}
And I'm the sinister, Mr. Kiss-My-Ass it's just a
[Chorus: Eminem + Jay-Z]
[Em] RENEGADE! Never been afraid to say
what's on my mind at, any given time of day
Cause I'm a RENEGADE! Never been afraid to talk
about anything (ANYTHING) anything (ANYTHING), RENEGADE!
[Jay] Never been afraid to say
what's on my mind at, any given time of day
Cause I'm a {RENEGADE} Never been afraid to holler
about anything {anything?} Anything {ANYTHING!}
[Jay-Z]
I had to hustle, my back to the wall, ashy knuckles
Pockets filled with a lot of lint, not a cent
Gotta vent, lot of innocent of lives lost on the project bench
Whatchu hollerin? Gotta pay rent, bring dollars in
By the bodega, iron under my coat, feelin braver
Doo-rag wrappin my waves up, pockets full of hope
Do not step to me - I'm awkward, I box leftier often
My pops left me an orphan, my momma wasn't home
Could not stress to me I wasn't grown; 'specially on nights
I brought somethin home to quiet the stomach rumblings
My demeanor - thirty years my senior
My childhood didn't mean much, only raisin green up
Raisin my fingers to critics; raisin my head to the sky
Big I did it - multi before I die (nigga)
No lie, just know I chose my own fate
I drove by the fork in the road and went straight
[Eminem]
See I'm a poet to some, a regular modern day Shakespeare
Jesus Christ the King of these Latter Day Saints here
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me
as a monger of hate and Satan a scatter-brained atheist
But that ain't the case, see it's a matter of taste
We as a people decide if Shady's as bad as they say he is
Or is he the latter - a gateway to escape?
Media scapegoat, who they can be mad at today
See it's easy as cake, simple as whistlin Dixie
while I'm wavin the pistol at sixty Christians against me
Go to war with the Mormons, take a bath with the Catholics
in holy water - no wonder they try to hold me under longer
I'm a motherfuckin spiteful, DELIGHTFUL eyeful
The new Ice Cube - motherfuckers HATE to like you
What did I do? (huh?) I'm just a kid from the gutter
makin this butter off these bloodsuckers, cause I'm a muh'fuckin
Please remember no one was willing to put Em on any feature except for those inside his camp. Jay was probably the 1st to reach out to this cat and show him some love. Ya'll can debate all day about whose better but no other rapper got more classic albums than Jay. PERIOD!
Anyways I hope he gets better.
Okay and i did admit jay got more hits than eminem but im giving eminem the crown, like i wud give nas the championship and jay still my nig but if u guna put a song why put renegade where he was strugglin to keep up wit eminems lyrics, put sumin like dead president or sumin ....iller
Naw playa....I put it up there because you have mentioned this song several times...this was not a battle...it was a callabo in which the most famous line comes from Jay. "Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"
I never hear anyone reciting shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that Em says in this track.
What's being said is...Eminem lyrics > Jay's lyrics on Renegade, even if Jay was the one who let him get on. You posting the lyrics even further proved that claim, the lyrics are dope. That's all.
Mind you they're speaking on two different perspectives, but Em's delivery was better. I recite Em's part all the time.
How the fuck you figure that??
Bottom line.......This is one of the best callabos ever.
True that.
u serious when u say no one recites eminems shit??, he had everyone saying "i dont give a fuck" ur right, renegade was never a battle, jay dont battle neway, but when u feature a big name, u know ur goin to have friendly fire on ur battle field either way and its friendly competition. eminem neva sed he killed jay on that track, nas and others said it, I wana see a collabo from the two, they both come correct when the bar is raised
Fuck this convo..lol..I want to see Nas, Em and Jay on the same track so niggas can debate that shit for the next 10 years..Yes Siiiiiiiir!
Once again, you CANNOT claim dude is better because you think he had a better verse on a song that HE produced. They are artists who make music and NO hip-hop artist has made more GOOD music than JAY-Z. Name one. Only PAC comes close. All these little arguements about lyrically this and that are nothing, Nas would be that dude otherwise and he is the only pure lyricist that factors into the equation as to who the king of this shit is. Em hasn't made one classic album yet, Big was 2 for 2, Nas has 2, Pac has 3 and Jay has arguably 4. Jay-Z has a jam for every mood, every occasion that ALL of us no the words to, like him or not. As much as I like Em, he isn't in the same category, not even the top half of the bracket, ESPECIALLY with this hiatus inbetween albums, ESPECIALLY when the last two albums weren't that good. Flow for flow, Luda and Em are two of the illest the game has seen, but hey, it ain't just about flows. Otherwise, this discussion would be about Cannibus and Cassidy. If it were about lyrics, it would be about Nas and Lupe. It's not. It's whose that dude and Jay is the ONLY one who can claim that(if you leave Pac out of the equation). Who has influenced more cats in the game right now? Fab, T.I., Weezy, Kanye, those are Jay's children. Not too many cats run around borrowing from Marshall's style. Actual Facts.
*^^^ know the words...
Radamez and 757,
They interviewed Em back in 01 over Renegade and he said it was a tie. I personally thought Em did Jay dirty, though, ESPECIALLY even more so when Nas said it on Stillmatic. Pound for pound, though, Em is NOT "better" than Jay. Em IS nasty; shit, VERY NASTY... but Jay is a little NASTIER... His catalogue is NASTIER...
Em had a song where he listed the best lyricists..."I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in/ It goes Reggie (Redman for the youngboys who don't know), Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from Outkast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me"; and so did Jay..." I'm from where niggas pull your card, and argue all day about, who's the best MC's, Biggie, Jay-Z, and Nas."
NAS IS THE GREATEST EMCEE OF ALL TIME.
P.S. And the title of this article: Eminem Rushed To Hospital Over The Holidays... wowwww, it's 1/8/08... That's like me puttin up a headline: Charismatic graduates from high school in 1998... lol, wowwwww! Late ass news.
lol you did spark a war but there is no one person in the industry that can put a dent in marshall's armor when it comes to lyrics, delivery, creativity, or freestyle abilities......sure you can argue that theres more creative artists out than em but the man is a genius....and personally i dont even count that nas/ jay beef kuz if it went on longer jay woulda won
The difference between Em and Jay is dat Em make music that you can listen to for a few years after it come out. Jay make music dat you can only listen to for a few weeks after it come out. Em will spend days writing one verse and Jay can make an album in a few days. Lyrically they are in the same ballpark but Em spends way more time perfecting his craft. If Jay spent more time working on Kingdom Come or American Gangster then they would have been more bangers on there instead of dat Hot trash dat he came out wit. Tabernacle!!!!
are u crazy "n-word please" u said jay makes music u can only listen to for a few weeks???? i still bump reasonable doubt. it's been out since 96, actually i bump every jay cd. i still play kingdom come ALOT and that came out over a year ago. jay's music is timeless. Em's gets worn out!! that's the difference between classic and not classic
If u wanna breakdown the renegade shit then you have to understand dat when Em came to Jay wit dat song he already had his verses written and laid. Renegade was actually a song dat Em had wit Royce da 5'9 so it aint no tellin how long he was workin on them verses. He kicked royce off da shit and brought it to Jay. And U know Jay he aint gonna spend too much time on nuthin. So even though I def think Em had the best lyrics on Renegade, Yall comparin some shit dat Em was workin on for days maybe even weeks to some shit dat Jay probably came up wit in few hours. By da way maybe Jay should grab a pen and some paper if it's gonna help him spit some better shit than dat hot garbage he been comin wit lately. Church!!!
They both got 2 classic albums apiece Jay: Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint 1 Em: The marshall mather lp and the eminem show. The difference is dat Jay used to drop almost every single year and drop Like once every 2 or 3. You feel me Pimp stain!
man, look what you done started!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
2 classic albums apiece my ass.
-Reasonable Doubt
-Hard Knock Life
-Blueprint
-Black Album
Timeless music for ears right there. KC is my shit...American Gansgta will be up on that list in a couple of years.
Em voice hurt my fuckin ears....I cant listen to that nigga for a whole album. I need a break after a couple of songs...it's not what you say all the time...it's how you deliver that message. It's not even close when comparing albums.
Classics? Who cares.
Yeah, a lot of the songs on those Jay albums have nice and beats and choruses, songs that are nice to listen to, but that doesn't make you a better rapper.
When determining the better rapper, you have to consider lyrical ability, not who can make a bunch of catchy songs, ie. soulja boy.
Now when I look at lyrics on Renegade, it's obvious to any non-jay die hard fan that the verse that Eminem created is one of the best in the history of the game. And they actually make sense. When Jay spit his, it felt like he was doing it just to make things rhyme, and made little sense. After Em finished I was like; "Ok Em's telling us that America and the parents in it hates his offensive lyrical content but the kids keep listening because they like it." And then when Jay was done I was all like: "Uh, what was he trying to say? Fork in the road..? Huh?"
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, you can't throw how many catchy songs a person has made into consideration when determining the better rapper or lyricist.
I can listen to Crank dat, by Soulja Boy, and then listen to a NaS accapalla, and confidently conclude that Nas is the obviously the much better rapper, because I analyze the LYRICS, not who can make a bunch of good catchy songs, which I think what you all are doing.
So don't pull the whole, "Oh well Jay has albums where 90% of the songs were hit songs with great hooks, therefore he is better than so and so." It just shouldn't be seen that way. How come no one says the infinite album is better than one of Jay's albums? Because it doesn't have poppy beats with catchy hooks right? I consider the content better than Jay's ever done..
So in short, when you people want to determine who the better lyricist is, LOOK AT THE GOD DAMN LYRICS, NOT WHO CAN MAKE A BUNCH OF CATCHY SONGS.
Jarrad,
You jumped in a convo that you have no clue what you just got into. Em and his whole camp got more popcorn music than just about anybody but you call that relevant. Since you cant comprehend the meaning when Jay says "No lie, just know I chose my own fate. I drove by the fork in the road and went straight"...shows your level of understanding. You exposed yourself. lol
Yea to say that Em is better than jay is ridcuous. Ems a writer. his lyrics flow because he WRITES them. Jay spits from the dome. For jay to spit the superior lyrics he spits is proof enuff that hes better than Em. Em has a better flow than Jay but thats it.
And to the dude "Jarrad" who claims Jay can only have catchy beats and hooks is somewhat of a novice to hip hop. Jay-z's lyrical ability is the reason people embrace him, not hit songz.
@ radimez
Actually, I know exactly what I got myself into. A petty bickering trying to narrow down who the best lyricist is between jay and Em, and people rather see who can make an album with lots of hit songs, than who can make an album with great lyrical content, affect their conclusion. Yawn, that's nice and all that Slim has can make hit songs, but when you are trying to decide who is a great lyricist, you best stick to how good their lyrics are, not their popcorn music, as you put it. It's also quite funny you mention misunderstanding, when you failed to address the main point I've made. Funny isn't it?
@ dcinthesouth
Ok listen here you fuck tart, I will not tolerate little morons like you misrepresenting my position and putting words in my mouth. I've never claimed Jay only has hot beats and catchy choruses as you so dishonestly put it. I said that you should look purely at the lyrics when trying to draw the conclusion that so and so is better than so and so, NOT how many albums they've released where all the songs on the albums are catchy and good to listen to. So you can lube up that ass hole of yours you have their and abruptly shove your blatant strawmans straight into it. Though I'm sure it isn't the first time something has been thrust into there. Jay is a great lyricist, but better than eminem? Let the LYRICS decide that, not how many hits a rapper has made in their career. It quite funny mention that bit about people liking jay because of his lyrics not his hits, considering the jay favored arguments simply consist of something like: "Oh, well Jay has four classic albums. The songs on those albums were all such hit tracks, therefore jay is better than eminem, bla bla bla" You get the idea. It's awfully suspect that I don't see them bringing up lyrics displaying jay spitting some super amazing memorable lyrics. This clearly doesn't seem to be the case here in this pitiful debate. Further more the most quoted rappers in the "favourite quotes in rap songs" type threads on forums are generally lines from Biggie, Eminem, Nas, Big pun, Big L, and a handful of other rappers that escape my mind right now. If the assertion "Jay-z's lyrical ability is the reason people embrace him, not hit songz." (see what I did there?! I didn't blatantly put words into your mouth and quoted you directly!!! No strawman!!!!! Maybe you could learn a thing or two.) were in any way true, then people would be pulling up lyrics from his tracks, not pulling out the played "HE GOTS CLASSIC ALBUMS. JAY WINS." would they now?
Jarrad,
Your post makes no sense whatsoever. If you carefully read from the 1st comment that started this convo you be able to understand whats being said. I could careless who is the best lyricist or the best rapper. Lyricism doesn't equate quality music. It takes versatility in several areas mixed with consistency that a legend is created. With that said, you say who cares about classic albums??? A lot of fuckin people, especially the artist that create them. A classic album is probably the highest achievement a hip hop artist can achieve. I equate that with a SuperBowl Ring, World Series Ring, NBA Ring. Nowhere in this article have I declared Jay the best ever. For something you call petty...you seem to be very interested. Try again playa....the more you type...the more you expose yourself.
Yawn. The corny babbling about these classic albums with all these catchy songs or whatever it was, might have actual been worthy of reading if it weren't so obviously taken out of the "determining the better lyricist" context. Again, making hit songs - which soulja boy is capable of - doesn't make Jay a better lyricist, devising great and memorable lyrics does. Try again playa, keep taking things out of context and ultimately looking like a moron, keep exposing yourself.
Wow...so original.
Thank you, but the credit of you being made to look like a fool rest solely on your shoulders. All you had to do was talk.
El.Oh.El.
lmao...now that was funny.
I do respect all opinions even if I dont agree with them. At the end of the day both guys have lyrics and lyrical content to match. It still holds for an interesting debate no matter how petty or irrelevant some may think it is ***ahem***Jarrard.
Rad, that Jarrad kid isn't worth the time or effort. No one is talking about simply lyrics, that is only a factor of this discussion. We are talking about the best in the game. If it were about simply lyrics, the discussion would be about Nas being the best, followed by Andre Ben, Lupe, Common, and you could toss up the next positon between EM and Luda, folloewd by Jay, and so on. This discussion, however is about the best cat in the game, though, which takes much more than being a great lyricist to achieve. Do they make good music(albums) category, swagger, stage presence and how they rock the crowd, creativity, and yes lyrical capabilities. No one has a higher average in all of those categories than Jay. He's not my favorite dude(I use to hate him) but I can see that with a blind man's eye. There is no one who you can currently argue is close. The battle starts at the #2 spot, and that is between 'Ye and Wayne, with Nas holding it down right behind them. (Nas would be ahead but, I've seen him live and it wasn't hot, plus he has an issue with picking the right beats sometimes.) Again, personal favorites aside, it is what it is. Em hasn't put out an album in years, let alone a good one. The last time he did come out with a good one, Kanye was only doing beats and Wayne wouldn't even be in the discussion. Sorry Stan's but it's....the truth. I hope his next album is a good one. A classic so you guys won't continue to argue a pointless battle. But until he does, you don't have a leg to stand on.
@757representa, dcinthesouth
Oh dear. it seems you people seem to posses a severe lack of understanding and reading ability. It's almost scary actually. But since I'm nice and have the patience of a saint, more specific, a tolerance for ignorant morons who fail miserably to read properly. But then again, you people are some how are continuously unable to spell a name as simple as mine correctly.
But i'm not gonna tear your head off, no, i'll tolerate it and proceed to kindly remind you - incase you have some form of disorder that disables your comprehending skills - that I'VE NEVER FUCKING SAID JAY IS A SHIT LYRICIST YOU FUCKING BRAIN DEAD IDIOT. LEARN TO READ.
Rewind to me talking strictly and solely about the "JAY GOTS CLASSICS. HE WINS." arguments that are used way too often.
'LOOK AT THE GOD DAMN LYRICS, NOT WHO CAN MAKE A BUNCH OF CATCHY SONGS.'
'I've never claimed Jay only has hot beats and catchy choruses as you so dishonestly put it. I said that you should look purely at the lyrics when trying to draw the conclusion that so and so is better than so and so, NOT how many albums they've released where all the songs on the albums are catchy and good to listen to.'
LOOK HERE, I'LL MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU IDIOTS TO UNDERSTAND SO YOU DON'T WASTE MORE BANDWIDTH WITH YOUR SHIT THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY SHIT ALL TO DO WITH WHAT I SAID
ARE YOU LOOKING? TAKE A GOD HARD READ.
WHEN ARGUIING WHO THE BETTER LYRICIST IS, DON'T CONCLUDE THAT SO AND SO IS BETTER THAN SO AND SO BECAUSE THEY CAN MAKE HIT SONGS, CONCLUDE RAPPER A IS BETTER THAN RAPPER B BECAUSE HE HAS THE BETTER LYRICS, AND LYRICAL ABILITY.
THAT'S ALL I FUCKING SAID, DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW? GO BACK AND RE READ IF YOU STILL HAVE HARD UNDERSTANDING. THAT'S ALL I'VE SAID ALL ALONG. THAT'S IT. It's all about the "Well this dude gots classic. He better" arguments, that's all it was about, it has NOTHING to do with proving that em is better than jay or jay is better than him. IT WAS STRICTLY ABOUT THE "CLASSIC ALBUM NUMBER" ARGUMENT FUCKTART. GO BACK RE READ, AND POINT OUT TO ME WHERE I MENTIONED JAY. God damn, learn to read. Christ. Do I need to beat you over the head until you finally understand? Jee, it's a damn shame you couldn't even see those with a blind man's eye eh? Maybe you should've traded that eye for his brain instead.
Strictly @ 757representa
Lastly ROFL @ Even daring to place NaS behind the likes of Wayne and Kanye, as if they were lyricaly superior than NaS. Nigga WHAT? That's a fucking slap in the face to real rappers like NaS. The lil T Pain wannabe and the adult cry baby will get ethered the fuck out. If all those of aforementioned rappers collaborated for a song, NaS would fucking embarrass these lower skilled rappers. They shouldn't even be placed in a spot near NaS, let alone the same fucking list lmfao. That really shows what you know about rap.
So until you learn how to quote people directly, not twist what they said, and not reply to a straw man you made of their post, you might actually make a decent point. And until you actually read what people are saying and in what context they say it, and not put words in their mouth, you don't have a leg to stand on.
JARRARD. You are the one not reading. Once again, and for the last time, this is not a discussion of who the best lyricist is. IT IS a discussion of who the BEST IN THE GAME IS. Different subject. Lyrically, Nas is above every cat that's been mentioned in any post under this article. But overall, he's behind a few. If you actually read the post, you'd realize that by now instead of trying to flex your lame vocabulary by writing extremely long posts about a completely different subject. Radamez told you had no idea what we were discussing in the first place and you continue to plague the discussion with points irrelevant to the matter at hand. Remember, reading is fundamental.
Hope the best for him. I'm still waiting for him to drop a classic album so I can place him solidly in the top 5.
True...regardless of what the stans say...marshall mathers is his only classic........and in the past few years he has been inconsistent and commercial.........sad but true.
Eminem Show wasnt a classic? i beg to differ....thats like sayin vol 3 was jay's best album after blueprint........2 lol
No, because track for track, vol. 3 and the Blueprint are light years beyond any album Em has put out. You guys use the term classic way too losely. A "Classic" album is nearly flawless, there maybe one track that you skip. Sorry, but Em hasn't done that yet. Lyrically, he is a beast, no denying that. But I put him in the same category as Luda, I just don't really take them seriously. Every album either of them have put out had way too many filler and radio songs. Classic? Illmatic is a classic, The Eminem Show isn't on level. The Blueprint is a Classic, The Marshall Mathers LP isn't on that level. Track for track, song for song, there is no comparisson. That is why I can't place him in the top 5 emcees, and only his lyrical capabilities place him in the top 10. Too mant of his songs are just for laughs in my opinion. Alot of his songs aren't about anything. You can try to say his ish goes over my head, but Nas and Lupe are two of my favorites, and I understand them completely. I'm not tryin' to bash you Stan's guy, I like him too, but I only can listen to him once in awhile, his voice gets annoying quick. So does his subject matter, how many references is he gonna make about Kim, Haley, his mom, and him being white, all shit I don't know and could give two shits about. When he does make an album that can be mentioned in the same breath as, The Score, The Infamous, Only Built for Cuban Linx, The Low End Theory, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt,College Dropout, Fear of a Black Planet,or even The Carter(yeah, I said it) then maybe he can be mentioned in the top 5. Nas, Jay-Z, Kanye, Wayne, Game & 50 all have bonafied classics under there belts. I'm still waiting for Em to follow suit.
@jarrard-
"I remember when you used to hold me/ told me I was the best/ anything in this world I want I could posess/ all it made me want is all that I could get in order to survive gotta learn to live with regrets.
this is the number 1 rule for your set in order to survive gotta learn to live with regrets/ and thru our travels we get separated- never forget in order to survive gotta learn to live with regrets."
fuck what you talkin about nigga. if you think jay is all hooks and "catchy songs" then you dont know lyrics when you hear um. eminem is a very ill MC. one of the best. incredible wordplay. punishing delivery. on top of all that he from detroit which makes him extra nice. But ALL of his albums lack that feel that jay-z put into a song like regrets. Personally hes been pissing me off with songs like smack that and shake that ass. I thought his first 2 albums were excellent. But each had a few songs i skip when i listen to them. Creatively I liked his last album alot because it had some funny shit in it, I like that he dont take himself too seriously. And he humble and thats great.
bottom line: if you asked eminem who he looked up to most in the industry he would say jay-z.
"Ive made beats for jay-z for free!"
I aint sayin jay is better.
I aint sayin eminem is a slouch by any means.
But whos got a more incredible catalog?
C'mon man, keep it real...
The Difference between Jay and Em is that Em takes the shit way more seriously than Jay. Jay is a Hustler he dont care about making no classic album he just care about gettin dat gwap. Em will spend hours just tryna make sure dat 1 verse is perfect. I dont see why yall cant understand dat
He don't care about making calssic albums? He's got more classics than anyone in the game right now, and Em has none. Who is the one who doesen't care?
ya Jay-Z is not the best, get better EM, hiphop needs u
Hope Em getz betta. waitin 4dat album to drop n DETOX too!! lol n jay z is not the best em is.
em is one of my favorite rappers but he cant touch jay
if this is true hope he gets betta....
hope he recovers....cuz hip hop needs king mathers
Em's the best...hope he gets better
Git better Em. King Mathers gon be tha shit dis summer. Em tha best rapper alive fuck lil wayne he not fuckin with him. As far as jay n em...damn i like em both but Eminem takes the crown
Hope em gets better.
but 200 pounds aint shit, dont kno why that information had to be added to the article.
It is when you 5'7 fatty.
