A viral marketing campaign has been launched for Eminem's forthcoming LP, Relapse.
Em leaked a picture via his twitter page where he is purportedly checking into the Popsomp Hills (Pop Some Pills) Rehabilitation Center ran by Dr. Balzac (..you get it..I hope).
The center's website, PopsompHills.com, features Em's synical branded humor including a "Learn More" link which directs the user to a Wikipedia definition of Hell.
The Terms and Conditions aren't necessarily for the kind-hearted either:
•Thank you for caring. Unfortunately, it will never be enough to save you.
•We are not fair people. We make mistakes under the influence just like you did in order to get you here.
•Life is too short, party harder than ever. We can help.
•Pain is not only tolerated - in fact it's encouraged.

Viral Marketing?
Viral marketing techniques use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness. They are usually utilized to promote upcoming films.
In May 2007, 42 Entertainment began what many consider to be one of the most successful viral marketing campaigns ever.
The company launched various websites surrounding The Dark Knight. Two of the most popular ones featured the fictional political campaign of Harvey Dent, with the caption, "I Believe in Harvey Dent" and Whysoserious.com which sent fans on a scavenger hunt through out major cities in order to gain more info about the movie. This would mark the first time a rapper of Eminem's stature has utilized this technique for promotion.

So far His two “hit singles” are TERRIBLE. I’m so disappointed in Em, he had more talent than this coming into the rap game.

Eminem not up there this year. You real Eminem fans know what I mean two singles from him back in the day was like Rap hibernation, meaning you wouldn’t need anything else for 2 months.
