Yonkers-bred rapper DMX, who has been in police captivity since December 9th, pleaded guilty to four felony charges, including identity theft and drug possession, in Phoenix, Arizona yesterday (December 30th). DMX will be sentenced on Friday, January 30th.

As the AP reported, the plea agreement will cover possession of marijuana, one count of theft, a misdemeanor count of animal cruelty, and one count of possession of narcotics drugs. Sheriff Joe Arpaio, of Arizona, offered a reward of $5,000 dollars to whoever provided DMX's whereabouts. An unidentified woman of Georgia reportedly revealed Earl Simmons to be staying at producer Scott Storch's Florida mansion, as Storch faces legal problems of his own.

The identity theft charges arise from a trip to a Scottsdale, Arizona hospital in April where DMX used a false social security number and name to escape a $7,500 medical bill. The animal cruelty charges and marijuana possession follow a May 2007 raid of the rapper's home, with police finding twelve malnourished pitbulls and several pounds of marijuana.

DMX faces up to a maximum of ninety days in jail.
