Rapper DMX, who is going through troubled times recently, did not make it to court yesterday and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was supposed to appear for a pretrial hearing at the Maricopa County Superior Court in regards to his drug case.
DMX is charged with one count of marijuana possession and four counts of drug paraphernalia possession, in connection with a raid on his Arizona home in May.
For his failure to appear, his bond was raised to $25,000 and a warrant was issued for him. The judge did give X's lawyer,Charles Kozelka, until 4 PM to locate X but apparently he was not able to.
A source close to DMX's camp said the rapper may have checked himself into a rehab and that is why he did not make it to court.
