Just when things seemed to be cooling down, Earl Simmons, aka DMX, is once again back in the news with more legal troubles. According to the Associated Press, DMX was apprehended on Monday June 23 at 1:30pm by the Miami Dade County Police. They had a warrant for X for not having a drivers license and took him to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Institute.
This is not X's first run-in with the law. Earlier this year the rapper pleaded not guilty to felony drug possession and animal cruelty charges in Arizona. He was also under investigation for checking into a hospital under a false name to avoid paying the hospital bill.
His bail has been set at $500 dollars.

Man, I remember reading "Making it hard" about DMX on the XXL May 2008 issue. It was one of the best read I've had in a long time. They analysed "it's dark and hell is hot", and I grew up listening to 2Pac and Big and X cos that was my era and man does it take me back to the good old days. DMX is by far one of the hardest rappers around. All these new rappers ain't got a quarter of X's talent and energy.
