DMX Denies Charges, Shows Rap Appeal

http://media.defsounds.com/uploads/assets/303/315/5249/asset.jpgDMX, real name Earl Simmons, plead not guilty yesterday to two felony counts, one count of theft and one count of taking someone else's identity. The charges stemmed from a visit Simmons made to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, in April during which he gave his name as "Troy Jones," allegedly to avoid paying for treatment.

After denying the charges, The Darkman decided to rhyme a few things to reporters outside.

"If and when you ever fall down, get back up. Drop something, stop fretting, pick that ... back up, stand for something or fall for everything, wait for the right pitch or miss with every swing.", DMX spit. The 37-year-old rapper is next due to appear in court on August 12.

i hope he doesn’t rhyme in front of a judge/jury, he needs to stay out of jail, and 37 is still young but in the hip-hop game that’s like grandfather status but there are artists in their 40’s still holdin shit down so age don’t mean anything
