DMX Breaks Contract, Ordered To Pay $242k
New York rapper DMX has been ordered to pay a $242,000 judgment to Amusing Diversions Inc., for failing to fulfill a contract to promote a dog clothing line named after DMX’s dog, Boomer 129.According to the New York Daily News, the business relationship got off to a good start but turned sour after the rapper failed to promote the merchandise on television, at concerts and at other public events as called for by the contract and even publicized competitors, causing substantial damages to the plaintiff.
In the July 25th ruling, the court stated DMX repeatedly ignored court proceedings and orders resulting in the judgment.
Eminem Reps File Suit Against Apple
Eminem’s music publisher, Eigth Mile Style, has filed yet another law suit against Apple Inc. for copyright infringement.
The publisher, which filed the first lawsuit against Apple in 2004 claiming they used Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” in an ad campaign without permission, filed the new lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Detroit yesterday (July 30).
“Eight Mile and Martin have demanded that Apple cease and desist its reproduction and distribution and Apple has refused,” the complaint accuses.
The 2004 lawsuit was successfully settled out of court, reps for Apple Inc. couldn’t be reached for comments.

maybe it was his idea to have a clothing line named after his dog, but then the label got involved and probably started changin shit and havin wack ideas, and dmx wouldnt want to put his stamp on something relating to his dogs that he didnt have complete control over. the group that is suing him is just probably greedy
