Currently Rivera is at a Harlem Hospital in critical condition. According to the New York Daily News his brother-in-law Luis Aspajo, stated Rivera’s condition as quote ””He can hear us, but he can’t respond,”and described the situation as ””tragic. We weren’t expecting this.” Carlos Rivera is married and has two sons, ages 1 and 8.

Carlos Rivera, aka Carl Blaze a deejay for power 105.1 in New York City was shot and wounded early yesterday after Deejaying a party at X-Bar a Bronx club in University Heights. Around 4:30 a.m he was found bleeding in a hallway at a building at 578 Academy St. in Inwood. Apparently he was walking out of an apartment after dropping off a friend when he may have become the target of a chain snatching. He was shot 13 times for his chain a white metal diamond chain with the interlocking initials CB according to police.

Hearing about things like this sucks. I can't understand why people kill or shoot over material things. It is one thing to rob someone, but to take his life for a anything material is stupid. Don't get me wrong, I am not condoling robbing people I just people would way there options first. Most people will give up their shit, hell you can replace it.
