The September 19th accident, which had DJ AM and ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker on board, left the DJ with second and third degree burns on his left arm and face. Despite the tragedy being so recent, AM says he is excited to be making his first public appearance with the Brooklyn powerhouse. "He's the greatest rapper in the world," the DJ told a magazine. "This is the biggest thing that's happened in my career."
Live Nation, the concert promotion company with whom Jay inked a reported $150 million deal, stepped in and signed a long-term lease to operate, manage and book the venue which had $20 Million worth of renovations done to it.
Tomorrow night's show will feature Jay-Z, a 12-piece band and the recovered DJ AM. This show kicks off the beginning of a few scheduled stops for Jay as he plans to perform in Houston, Philadelphia, Charlottesville, VA and East Rutherford, NJ over the next 2 weeks.
