Sean Combs has recently confirmed to the New York Daily news that he has hired Chris Lighty to “manage his music career and oversee new brand ventures”. Lighty the manager to many of hip hop heavyweights such as 50 cent, Missy, Busta Rhymes, and Three Six Mafia will now be adding Combs to his list of many clients. The two recently started work with the release of Comb’s album “Press Play” which debuted at no 1 after it’s release.
Earlier during the summer Diddy had signed with the management company The Firm but both parties quickly disbanded. After seperating with The Firm he hired Hiram Hicks a seasoned music veteran as his manager. It is unclear whether he will stay with Hicks but it seems as if Lighty will take the lead role as the manager. Lighty’s duties would include the overlooking of Diddy’s businesses such as his record company Bad Boy ent, Sean John clothing line, Bad Boy Films, and Justine’s Restaurant.
