Are you stupid? How many covers was G Unit on this year? 2. 50 had a cover when his album was coming out, and Buck had a cover when his album was coming out. So how is that they are on every cover? How about Lil Wayne? 3 covers this year, no Carter 3 album. He was on the April cover, the 10th Ann. cover with Baby, and this cover the Jan/Feb 08 cover, which came out in Dec 07. so thats 3 covers in a year with no solo album. Thats what we dont want to see. Anyway, I dont get why they fired him? The mag sunk The Source, became the top rap mag out, all while he was running it, why change that up? Not to mention Em also had Dre and 50, and Fif had G Unit and they been running rap, so not being able to have Interscope in there mag killed them, meanwhile XXL was doing the Dre, Em and Fif cover which became there biggest issue ever.
Look what you just said, 4 covers were held down by G-Unit, in a year that was less than stellar for the crew. That means every 3 months they were on the cover lt alone past years where they dominated XXL. Wayne, even without an album, had a monster year. His mixtape series(The Drought, Drought is over, etc.) were bigger than most of the major releases this year. So of course he's gonna be on the cover, besides that, he did drop with Birdman, Like father like son, which had a huge single(Stunt like my Daaddy). Buck flopped. 50 is 50, he's gonna get his, but no one else on G Unit saw any success this year besides 50 blessing them becaus of his new foun Vitamin Water money.
