After a July 31st, 2007, release, the album which is heavily produced by Kanye West and features collaborations with Dj Premiere, Lilly Allen, Bilal, and Will.I.Am, sold 157,000 copies during its first week in stores.

According to reports, Allen was reportedly detained on Sunday by Los Angeles Customs officers as she arrived for the MTV Video Music Awards nominations and to shoot the video with Kanye West.
Authorities have stripped the British songstress of her work visa while everything is resolved.

Calm down fellas...Now, I dowloaded this album straight away and I gotta say - Common is on top. No one else at the moment. I'll buy the album too cause I need to check the production credits. I know Kanye did a lot and I can pick most of that from listening (and the Prrimo track) but I need to confirm a couple of the tracks. That said, Southside is a great beat and Kanye's verse is tight but he fucks the hook and kills the track. Common's gotta just take the beats and tell Kanye to rhyme on his own shit - Comm doesn't need it. Now you boys play nice.
