Kelis Dropped From Jive
The label was disappointed with the sales of her last album, “Kelis Was Here,” which barely sold 150,000 copies suggested in the report.
The album which debuted at #10, on the Billboard Hot 100, was her fourth studio lp and was released August 22.
Kelis’ biggest album was ‘03’s “Tasty” featuring the hit single “Milkshake.” The album has sold 528,000 copies in the US according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The thing about the album was it was pure coke rap. Like..the WHOLE album, lol. Don't get me wrong I love that album and have it myself, but Mr. Me Too was just about the only track they could really come out with without completely revamping the song. Nightmares ft. Bilal is crazy though.
