Yea I feel you (Wiz10l) on tha wanting a certain type of Weezy on this album after everything that was put into it and just to keep it clear tha only way this album would’ve have been where it needed to be following up all tha media hype was if Tupac came back and did some ghost writing for Wayne and if BIG did three tracks with him. I feel dude was slighted because we were asking for a classic all while they were leaking out his classic tracks, but I have to love how he still took on tha challenge and went and gave us a whole nother album, who else could’ve did that, not to say it wouldn’t be possible for Jay-Z, BIG, or definitely Pac, but they didn’t have tha technology problems that are plaguing hip-hop. So I Finally got my Hands on a copy of C3; I want to thank Chuck T & Papi down at the Boodega Store on Flatbush ave. We all know we been waiting to see what Weezy is real made of.
Here’s my Review:
3 PEAT: Wayne sounds sick, and by that I mean literally sick, as if son has was on the hospital must be a side effect of all that sizzurp he sippin’.
MR CARTER: I expected dude to come out way hard since Jay’s on, But in my opinion Not even Jay came hard, it’s like he didn’t even listen to Weezy’s verse,…lol I wonder how much Jay got paid for this mess. I mean why even try right?
A MILLI: Wait ain’t this the song that had Corey Gunz on? What the fuck happened? Knowing how vicious of an assassin Corey Is, it wouldn’t surprise me if he murdered Weezy on his own shit. Result, they chopped out his verse & added words another trashy one from Wayne
COMFORTABLE; this was a disgrace to all artist, not only hip-hop…money you had 2 years, and this song is best you can put out? Shit sounds like some Neo-soul sound.
DR CARTER; prod. by Swizz Beatz …now again, I don’t get why Swizz did this, I can’t even call it, y’all just have to listen to it.

Ok I don’t listen to much rock, but I know they have lyrical content that say things such as “fu** tha world it’s all backwards, I want to die, kill me tomorro, so I can fly”..umm lyrics like “Kill, kill, kill, but give me free will, shoot and stab is all I feel, I am light aaahhh” and other just mindless garbage and go and sell millions and got kids banging their beats and guitars in households everywhere. Now before you’re quick to pull tha well this is rap card and you gotta know tha rules to what makes rap what it is, I’ll pull tha this is hip-hop card, which means tha true essence of hip-hop is freedom, It is tha one and only reason it has lasted and why it is tha most loved and envied genre in tha world. Go back to Wildstyle, or do your research on your 3 elements of hip-hop, tha mic, tha b-boying, and tha art (such as spray painted murals u might find in subways or walls) all three of these things are tha ways tha first pioneers expressed their freedom and to this day still do. Hip-hop has evolved because it’s been infiltrated by media, money, and technology. Now if everything I said is too over your head and comes off as mindless rhetoric like tha way people describe some of Waynes songs or whenever he has an actual intelligent interview think about it like this…I got tha chance to meet Jeff Johnson as he came to our school for questions in hip-hop and he helped me better understand why I couldn’t understand when it all changed, went from PURE to money, hoes, cars, and clothes, and bum a** gangster lyrics; he showed me how tha Chronic was tha start and what offset tha change. Sometimes I wish I could go back and change tha whole thing and put gangster rap in its own genre because I hated how it just took over tha whole scene, but I didn’t hate all of it especially since it birthed tha greatest ever “to me” Pac but I do see tha attempt by these artists to bring tha dance beats back into they hits, so its evolving again, but after you read this I think you’ll understand a lil clearer what happened to hip-hop through my analogy
