Bun B Preps New Album , Grabs Partnership With Zune

Bun B, one half of the award winning group UGK, is read to release the debut of his highly anticipated sophomore solo album, II Trill. The album is scheduled to be released April 29th of this year. II Trill will include guest features by artists that include the late great Pimp C, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, 8 Ball and MJG, David Banner, Rick Ross, Z-Ro, Mya, Mike Jones, Junior Reid, Webbie, Chamillionaire , Expensive Taste (Paul Wall, Skinhead Rob, & Travis Barker) and Slim Thug. The Houston rapper also collaborated with hitmakers Mr. Lee, Scott Storch, Jazze Pha, Bigg Tyme, Black Out Movement, Khalil, Clinton Sparks, Enigma and Chops to name a few.
Currently on a national promotional tour to promote II Trill and its first single, a JR Rotem produced track titled “That’s Gangsta” featuring Sean Kingston, Bun has partnered with Microsoft Zune on a series of promotional events and programs focused on making a more direct connection with his fans through a strong presence on the road, at retail, and on Zune digital platforms. While on the road, he will be making appearances at several Boys & Girls Clubs. Bun is also a part of Zune Social, an online music community where he is able to share his experience on the road and interact with music lovers.

what the fuck do u mean why lupe.... lupe is the most lyrical person out now and the future of hip hop, one of the only emcees thats gonna save it. Bun b is the master of flow and i expect the song they collab on to be sick and probably the best on the album depending on who produces it.

True, but not to this extent. He's got Travis Barker on his album, that's big for someone in hip-hop. Lupe, Skinhead Rob? Mya? Junior Reid? There is something for everybody here. Might be one of the most well rounded albums to come out of Texas, ever.
Travis Barker & Skinhead Rob were both on the last track of the last album.
He had Trey Songz, Jay Z, Luda, and the Ying Yang Twins (when they were still riding their wave of energy).
It's not a jump in commercial appeal at all. It was just slept on by alot of niggas. It kinda snuck in.

I been waiting on this one every since he announced he was making another solo album.
I bought Trill and niggas was like, "Why you bumping Bun B, he ain't tight. After about a week all my niggas was on that shit."
Just like the first one, he got a great lineup of featured artists, so with even decent production, this album is definitely a safe buy.
Three potentially great albums already slated for April releases. I guess Imma have to put Nigger on hold, because I'm copping C3 & 2 Trill the day they drop.
